Tried to track down the origin of a small oil leak at the front of my engine. I know it is probably not worth worrying about but dammit, I hate it! Here is the before and after pics. It seems to be right at the joint between the cover seal and the oil-pan seal. (Duh!) I'm thinking that after re-cleaning, the Permatex spray-on wicking sealant will take care of this.
after cleaning
after running for about 10 minutes backside of new part
Got my new calipers all prettied up before I throw them on tomorrow
Went ahead and popped in the new boots for the slide pins into the caliper brackets too, so all I need to do tomorrow is bolt everything together with the new calipers and hoses, bleed the brakes, and she'll be back in all 4 again
Got the brakes all buttoned up with the new calipers and hoses, the wife helped me bleed them and flush some old fluid out at the same time, and the 'ol girl is now back on all 4's and on the road again. Stops on a dime and gives change back and also doesn't drag lol
