Can I hazard a guess that you are not married? My guess is that most wives wouldn't let their husbands lay wiring harnesses across their livingroom floors or leave alternators on the end-tables.

That would be correct. The alternator is in the middle of a rebuild and the wiring harness was trying to slither out the patio door as I was screaming about its’ cost.
