To heck with insurance companies!

The variance to insure a blazer just blows me away
When i was 15 my, 15 year old s10 ran me 40 bucks a month to insure
Blazer is 150 ish a month now at 12 years old, i somehow dont see it dropping 110 bucks a month in 3 years, seeing as my insurance went up 7 dollars this year (7 dollars per year)
What BLOWS my mind is the insurance on my trailer. 5x8 inclosed......Premium is 10 dollars per year.....BUT....Plate Registration runs $59 per year..uhh..FTW????
Insuring a car under a parent is a way you can go if you want to save some cash, as long as you would be properly covered, worst case you can get the car get lay up insurance and park it while you make it yours....
Differences with me and insuring under my parents year wasnt worth the paperwork.
Another way how the insurance companies screw you over is with this, the longer you drive without an infraction the more you save...well....when i was 15 our family move from sask to manitoba.......well my parents both had perfect records and max discount in sask, move to manitoba, and that doesnt transfer over. Had to start at 0 and work their way back up........but you know if you had a horrible record that would of course transfer over.

you are complaining about $2600 a year for a 99 camaro? When I was 17 (in 1993), in the Airforce, I paid $200 a month for bare state minimum on a 78 Datsun 810..... My insurance went to $350 a month for full coverage with $500 deductibles on a 91 2wd Ford Ranger 6 months later.

I pay 265 a year for my bike and 140 a month for my blazer and tauras , and thats after a DWAI needless to say I don't drink anymore , that was no **** 3 beers . I got pulled over for a unsafe start on a back road right next to my house , Damn sneeky police . But lesson learned , PS I learn everything the hard way .
