Is it possible to tell?
#11
Cheers for the humungous list . Do I take it that the RPO sticker in the glovebox refers to everything my vehicle was fitted with, as I am getting a little confused about this. I ask because apparently the VIN number says one thing (E.G standard 7.625" non locking diff), and the RPO sticker says something different. Oh and originally it was a dealer who gave me a printout of the VIN when I asked if it was possible to tell the rear axle from the VIN. Nice when you have everything apart, no transport and the wrong part!
Cheers for your help guys

The RPO codes are what your car was built with. There are just too many options available for a VIN to specify every option that can be installed during production. So if you have a delta between the VIN and RPO code the RPO code takes precedence.

If you had the ZR2 (higherwider) package you'd have plastic fender flares and 31x10.5x15 factory tires for a couple of easy visual cues and like others have said you'd definitely have the ZR2 RPO code. I'm not positive, but I believe it is possible to have the standard 7.6" rear end with either the GU6 or GT4 gears along with the G80 locking diff. They're not exclusive to the ZR2's. The G80 was an upgrade option for quite a bit of the production run of the Blazers.

Thanks for that info. Yes I have the plastic fender flares and the 31x10.5x15 tyres and I know the ZR2 RPO is in the glovebox. Due to the help from you guys I have now figured out that the vehicle is a ZR2. All I have to do now is decode all the RPO`s from the list that was kindly supplied on here
