Another is my bass boat thats around 1800lb & a light trailer, but still the rear sags so add-a-leaf or re-arched springs are in my future.
id probly go with adding leaves. rarely haul anything with it though, id hate to mess up the ride quaility. my ranger has coil overloads that dont even come into play until theres about 300# in the bed. from the looks of it, they wont fit on the blazer.

[B]Got my distributor cap and rotor on, the tail pipe patched (with some help from my girl). It's super when you have a woman who likes to work on trucks with you. Having a girl who can climb under your truck and sit up on the ground with no jacks and no lifted suspension, PRICELESS !! My work area is my parking spot in front of the house on the street.

Fog lights on a roof rack? They should be mounted low so you don't get glare off the fog/rain/snow.

I am 95% done this

Because its a short box and the tool box is a deep one it wouldn't sit down all the way. I put two 2x4s together and it sits perfect now. Bought a 2'x1' piece of diamond plate from CT and cut it to fit. 4 self-tapers later and it doesn't look completely jimmy rigged lol As of now it is not attached to the truck, hence the ratchet straps lol. Gotta find time to put 2 self-tapers a side in it. Plus I need to polish the **** out of it lol. It has been sitting in a dusty, dirt shop being used as a shelf since 2007.

I see, I had hoped they were driving lights lol. Very nice!

Zed... it took a bit to see what you were building, after reading it I see the additional "blocks" for support. It does look really good, took me a few times to see it wasn't stock, WTG!
